About LessCarbs

AI news without
the empty calories.

LessCarbs is a leaner information diet for the AI age. We cut the filler, link the evidence, and explain what happened and why it matters.

Less CARBS. More substance.

Clickbait. Alarmism. Repetition. Buzzwords. Spin. We aim to give you less of all five. Every story starts with two clear answers: what happened, and why it matters.

The Signal is our briefing.

The Signal is the short-form LessCarbs briefing: the developments worth your attention, the context behind them, and the sources to check. New editions are prepared daily from a curated news queue.

Follow the signal back to its source.

We cover developments in artificial intelligence and preserve the original event dates. We prioritize original announcements, research, legislative records, and survey methodology. Each article links to the sources behind its factual sections. Company claims are attributed to the company; a published benchmark, security account, or demonstration is not presented as our own independent test.

Reporting and perspective, clearly labeled.

Articles combine concise source-based reporting with original editorial interpretation. Analysis sections are labeled “Our take.” We preserve the announcement or event date separately from the publication date of the LessCarbs article. An older event appearing in a new edition is not described as newly breaking news.

Our editorial practice.

“LessCarbs Editorial” is the publication byline. Stories link to their evidence and distinguish sourced reporting from editorial analysis. We do not claim original interviews, independent lab tests, or on-the-ground reporting unless those activities actually took place. Conceptual artwork is labeled as illustration.

Accuracy before volume.

We keep stories as short as the evidence warrants. We distinguish confirmed information, announced plans, company claims, and our analysis. We aim to correct errors transparently and update publication metadata when an article materially changes. Display advertising is labeled “Advertisement” and appears outside article text. Advertisers do not choose our coverage or editorial conclusions. Sponsored stories, if introduced, will carry a separate disclosure.
